Welcome to our new volunteer co-ordinator!

Aberporth Village Hall has weclcomed its new volunteer co-ordinator.

Julie Ward started in the post this week – the role has been funded for the next two years by the National Lottery Awards for All Fund.

Julie is a well known face in the village having been a brownie leader for the past seven years as well as working in the local chemist.

She will be working with the volunteer team which helps run events at the hall and Canolfan Dyffryn.

Volunteers are also essential for keeping the community fridge and the recycled clothes rail running as well as delivering the weekly community lunches and coffee morning.

Julie said: “I’m really looking forward to working with the incredible volunteer team at Aberporth Village Hall. We have lots of events already in the calendar and welcome anyone who’s interested in volunteering with us.”
