Celebrating Volunteers Week

We celebrated Volunteers' Week with a social evening at the hall.

Hall volunteers attended along with volunteers from several other village organisations.

The event was also attended by CAVO volunteer officer Trish Lewis and CAVO chief executive Hazel Lloyd Lubran.

CAVO funded the event to mark the celebrations.

"Volunteers are the lifeblood of our communities," Hazel said. "Without their energy and commitment things would not happen."

A delicious buffet was supplied by local cafe Shibwns.
