Bookings open for new hall

The new Aberporth Village Hall will be opening its doors in January 2024. A call is now going out to local groups and organisations to ask if they want to book spaces in the brand new facility.

The Heart of the Community project to build the new hall attracted over £1m of funding with the vision of a warm and welcoming community hub open throughout the day.

Facilities include a main hall, meeting rooms, fully equipped kitchen and modern toilets with all spaces disabled accessible. The hall will have energy efficient lighting and heating plus parking space outside.

The old 1930s hall closed its doors during the Covid crisis and was demolished in early 2022.

Hall chairman Mike Harwood said: “Our job now is to make sure the new hall is as active as possible. We’re asking all former hirers if they want to return and welcome new bookings and events.”

Anyone interested in hiring spaces starting January 2023 can contact project officer Sue Lewis at or call her on 07402255010.
